Where the hell does this come from?
It looks like a dubious mix of Trek and SG.
I never found the time nor the will to go through all episodes again to note the position of PX-### dots on the glass board.
Chulak has to be fairly close.
We're told that the Death Glider will return to Chulak (at that time described as Apophis' homeworld) on autopilot. It will take several hundred years.
It was moving at 0.0015c (0.0015 LY/Y).
Teal'c was probably wrong, considering that would put Chulak, at best, some 1.499 LY away from Earth.
Let's pretend he just guessed this and was just too conservative. That'd said, if he wasn't too far from the truth, Chulak would be close to Earth.
It would also add more reason for Apophis to travel there, as it would be close to his own territory.
