for purposes of this debate EU feats for the dark lord will be valid (minus Dark Empire no tking solar system jazz here) fight takes place in the senate building Yamamoto owed Yoda a favor and went to confront him in the senate hall in his place

I pity Shigekuni Yamamoto Genryūsai Commander General of the armed forces of the after life. His fingers are so large that he can't poke his nose.

Other than that, he's a total unknown to me. What's he capable of?

Basically, the most powerful Soul Reaper currently in existence. He has the single most powerful (if somewhat overpowered) zanpakto in all of Soul Society, and his power is so great that, even without releasing even a fraction of his full power, an aura of flames emanate from his sword.

transonic possible hypersonic speedster with the ability to demolish buildings city blocks and his nastiest attack was supposed to be capable of completely annihilating an entire city with at the very least 250,000 residents in it-mind you he never did this and when the bomb did go off his body absorbed most of the blast..so I'm not sure how well you can rate that or quantify it

to be fair most of that seems to be hype Aizen and Ichigo and his dad showed better destructive feats then Yamaji did..then again Yama got cheap shotted and ended up blowing his own arm off so..he didn't really get to do much...suffice to say though the Bleach verse equivalent of sidious was concerned enough about him to take..him out of the fight..ASAP
