First off, welcome to the forum.

Your subject title is misleading. I thought you meant Tribbles, as in from Star Trek. These are the Crits, from the movie Critters, which are something totally and completely different.

From what I remember in both the Critters movies about the Crits, they were pretty damn near unstoppable without the use of advanced alien technologies. Unless the Ewoks get help from their New Republic friends, or if this is set before the Rebel commando team lands, then the Ewoks have to hope that the Imperial troops and Darth Vader intervene.

no offense, it just seemed kind of random, like 'what would happen if the flux capacitor malfunctioned and marty was transported into the death star with the delorean moving at 88 mph, aimed directly at the emperor's throne, ten feet away?'

If this person wants to pit Crits against Ewoks, I'm all for it. As far as I can recall no one's ever brought up a Versus match like this before, and it's refreshingly original.

But they do, post ROTJ they have all that Empire Tech left over, Ewoks with blasters shame they can not shoot for .....
