On March 3, 2220 Federation Starfleet established an elite school for the top one percent of it's graduates. It's purpose was to teach the lost art of space combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best starship commanders in the world.
They succeeded.
Today the Starfleet calls it Starship Weapons School.
The flyers call it:
TOP PHASER
.....cue to Kirk a.k.a Maverick and Spock a.k.a Goose flying the Enterprise inverted over a Klingon cruiser.....
HIIIIIIGHWAAAAAAY TOOOOO THEEEEEEE DANGER ZOOOOONE......

Hey you got me all wrong, I'm not at all angry, I loved Top Gun, it's just silly how they ripped off the entire Maverick sthick for Kirk. I keep waiting for a trailer showing Kirk racing a Consitution with his bike. :)

Shyea right, how about Viper. He doesn't deserve to be one of those nameless MiG pilots, that I compared him to Goose was pure generosity on my part. :)

OK, VS Debator hat is on.
San Francisco is now Coruscant. But there's a large marina, so boats still are fashionable.
But it's grey, fucking grey, and it looks polluted.
The Romulans fire some bongo-missile at a ship.
Kirk is nearly eaten by a Frost Shambler but is saved as the monster is eaten by another bigger monster (I swear I saw that somewhere else).
The Enterprise fires blues and reds at spitting range.
There's obviously one or two weapons of doom involved.
Uhura has some nice underwear.
Some phaser banks can fire two main beams, some of which are composed of at least three beams themselves, in an attempt to shoot down incoming debris or something else.

For once I have to agree with you that would a frakin' awesome scene of Kirk on his bike racing alongside a Connie (preferably
Enterprise herself) as it lifts off from the Earth. ;-)

By the way, what does everyone make of that planet's "implosion"?

You want to be spoiled? If not, read no further.
They use a mining platform to dig a hole into Vulcan's core and then throw some Red Matter into it, which forms a black hole.

Are you sure it's not being "shunted" in Hyperspace? ;)

Myself, when I post.
I haven't posted in quite a while, nothing really interests me at SB nowadays.
I got tired of seeing the same arguments repeated over and over, and logic being thrown out the window by the Rabid Warsies when it didn't suit them.
I prefer debating here and at DITL, because the people are nicer and more civil, and also most of the posters are logically inclined and honest.

Okay, where did you get this information from? If that's true is this done in the past or the future?
