Pure propaganda, I tell you...

I've been in Bogota, Colombia, a few years ago, and people kept telling me to be careful, yet I'm still here and in good health.
some will way it can be attributed to my ugliness and the fact that I'm poor as hell, but I say it's because it is not as dangerous as many think... :)

I live fairly close to the border, and have been to Mexico many times. I know how bad things are getting there. Like I said, be careful where you go.

Then we'll go where I live, to Quebec...
Just as corrupt, but much less dangerous... :)

Theres a shop there that sells WWI/II era rifles. He's got some Russian M91/30 rifles I want to look at.

Reproductions maybe, but the original production line would have shut down long ago.

A M1 Garand is a M1 Garand isn't it no matter when it was made, right?

Is it the antique things I've never really understood?

The antique thing, I suppose. Originals command more money and respect then if you buy a new one. Personally it doesn't really bother me either way.

The nice thing about collecting Russian stuff is that its cheap. Means more money is available to feed it.
