Behavioral analysis : what gender for droids?

Let's pick R2D2 and C3PO. Based on how they behave, would you think they're more female or male. Then, are they behaving more like heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals or transgenders?

C3-PO is a homo sub but does not realise it.
R2D2 is essentially a robot version lassie, likely a male hetro switch.

More like an AC-DC top, i.e. he amply demonstated that he'll stick his probe into any computer's socket possible and he's known to stick it in the wrong port (like on Bespin). He even gives 3PO electro-stim to get it together; long story short, he puts the "ass" in astro-droid.
