The Federation can be killed by the Empire

The United Federation of Planets is a weak government. The Federation has several flaws, that can lead to it's destruction by the Empire. Here is some weaknesses of the Federation:
*The Federation's warp drive is pitifully slow. While it would take 72 years for a Federation ship to cross the galaxy (as stated in Star Trek: Voyager), it would take a Imperial or Star Wars vessel only one day-one week to cross the galaxy. The Borg, the most advanced species in the Star Trek universe, can cross the galaxy in at least five months, but their still slower then the Empire's ships.
*The Federation has computers who control 90% of the operations on all Federation vessels, including the Enterprise, as saw in the Next Generation episode "Contagion".
*The Federation's communications network is slow. It would take six years for a Federation communications message to cross it's galaxy. A Imperial ship would outrun the Federation message in less then a day or at the most, a week!
*Federation transporters are extremely inefficient. Transporters effectively terminate the life cycle of Federation beings, reorganizing them at the molecular level, and transporting those molecules to another area up to 40,000 km away. It then creates a exact duplicate of the subject who was broken down by using the person's molecules.
*Federation officials rely on biofilters to identify and removing any dangerous pathogens or toxins in their body. However, 9 times out of 10 the biofilter fails to identify or cure a pathogen and thus viruses infect the ship!
