While I certainly appreciate your evidence-centric approach, I find myself somewhat confused as to your point. Perhaps you could expand on those screen-caps with some kind of commentary, drawing together the various evidentiary threads you have collected and explaining their significance?

I guess what I'm saying is that I can be kind of dumb sometimes, so I need you to just come right out and tell me why ramming is so effective in Star Trek.

Pictures speak a thousand words but not always with a coherent narrative.

Regarding the first sequence with the Maquis ship pushing through, there is no evidence that those were anything more than mere navigation shields as I recall (regular shields but at normal low levels). They were looking for a disabled ship in a sensor-sucky environment, and while I would hope they raised shields to full as a precaution against a pretty good trap there is nothing explicit to that effect. They were not at red alert and I don't think they were even at yellow.
