I have locked Mojo's "fanfic" thead as it is clear trolling as well as a direct insult to me under the guise of a story. Furthermore, Mojo, who has been warned nicely mulitple times, is receiving two warnings for the following infractions:

- For stalking and harassment of staff (Myself) in the form of an abusive "fanfic"

- For a highly abusive mass spam PM intended to harass a staff member (myself) with complaints from at least two of the recipients of that PM, Nowhereman and SpanishInquisitor about the PM as detailed in the "General Warning Tally for staff..." here.

As it seems that Jedi Master Spock lacks the time to deal with this, I am taking steps on my own. If JMS at some point wishes to override me, fine. But until then, I will take whatever punitive action is necessary against Mojo, or any of his sock puppets.

The current tally stands at

Mojo = 3 warnings

StarWarsStarTrek= 2 warnings

Admiral Breetai = 1 warning

Any further questions or any challenge to this accounting, should be directed to myself or to Jedi Master Spock, if you feel this is unfair in any way.

Thank you

Mr. Oragahn gets a warning for calling SWST an idiot in the "1.5 Megaton Myth" thread:
All you ask for, idiot, has already been explained in the BDZ thread. I have no intent to repeat myself over a cold case.
I realize that debating is tough with SWST, but try to keep it cool.

Also, regarding your report, when did SWST call you an idiot? I can't find anything other than multiple quotings of you having called SWST an idiot.

this is hilarious I mean damn mike really? the guys venting his frustration would you rather he be trolling and flaming every thread SWST posts on?

it's constructive because it's harmless unless you are actually offended by Mojo's little harmless story

Eh? In my report, I never pointed out that SWST called me an idiot. I pointed out that he kept ignoring points about Dankayo and further elements of BDZ-related debates, and that I always invited him to reply to my points made in the BDZ thread and he always refused, even having the gall to try to reboot the whole BDZ topic with a new BDZ thread.
I don't know how my report indicated any complaint about "idiot". You must have mixed two reports, one possibly coming from SWST himself, and mine.

You know, harmless doesn't equal constructive in my book.
And I didn't like the mega-PM thing either.

Oh besides, the 1 day 2 days 4 days 1 week 2 weeks 1 month 2 months gradual ban duration is silly.
One can only be that tolerable with very troublesome people.

I say you drop a good many of those steps. By the time of the fourth ban, I think it should be pretty clear that the member is simply not worth keeping around. So the fourth ban should be a permanent ban.
You need to be manly about that. Tolerance is fine and all in intelligent and measured quantities. At some point, there's only brute force that works. Or absolute authority, in this case.
Eventually you may allow more warning prior to a ban if you wish to, but not too many either.
Also, some warnings should disappear after a while. SBC has infractions points which are tied to a dating system. Isn't there something similar here?

After much consideration and careful monitoring of the situation, I am giving StarWarsStarTrek a warning for the following violations as detailed here:

Mike DiCenso wrote:On SWST not addressing evidence concerning the lack of evidence of asteroids in the Falcon-Avenger chase scenes:

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 026#p38026

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 058#p38058

Attempting to trump higher canon with lower canon concerning planetary bombardment:

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 013#p38013

Not to mention trying to use the CCG card image that was debunked as proof of gigatons of firepower long ago, and my links back to the essays by Jedi Master Spock, Nowhereman10, and I, among several others:

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 949#p37949

This is a short list in a long list of similar behavior that dates back to SWST's first appearance here:

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 941#p26941

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 863#p26863

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... f=8&t=1919

http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... 9&start=30

I see a continuing pattern of behavior.
-Mike
I am also issuing a second warning for dishonesty in the form of ignoring various other users' evidence or attempting to subvert clearly higher canon material with lower canon.

This brings StarWarsStarTrek's tally back up to four warnings, which means he is given a punitive 4 week (1 month) ban. As always, please appeal to Jedi Master Spock, if you think this punishment given in error.

For some strange reason the 2 warnings JMS placed on SWST earlier in place of the four warnings Praeo gave him were not listed in the warning box. So for the sake of clarity I will add them back in so that it does not look like I am unfairly banning SWST for having just two warnings.

Convenient glitch. Temp ban or permaban ?

For now a long temp ban of 4 weeks. But the request to go through with changing it to a permaban is still pending.
