But if this is real, it will signal the end of the Versus Debate:

In the eloquent words of the late Romulan senator Vreenak:

"It's a FAAAAAAAAKE!"

Still, that's a lot of effort put into an April Fool's Day prank.

April Fools, but still.

The GFFA may have better weapons than nuTrek (I am guessing... never really pondered it before), but certainly not better propulsion ... the Monsterprise booked it to Vulcan and was undoubtedly several times faster than Amidala's AoTC ship, if not hundreds of times.

And can you imagine ANH-era Han Solo with a transporter?

anybody here pull their own april fool's day prank? i did. i pulled a hilarious (if i do say so myself) prank on my wife, she came home from work earlier than usual and found her sister and i having sexual intercourse. we were like 'APRIL FOOL'S!'.
she's a bad sport though. she screamed 'IT'S NOT APRIL FOOL'S DAY GODDAMMIT' and started throwing all kinds of shit around until she hit her sister in the head with a coffee cup so hard that she fell out the window unconscious and dropped three stories to the ground and landed directly on her tailbone, which was crushed to powder. her screams of agony were so intense that i had to cover my ears to protect them from that deadly sound even three stories up looking down at her. people who had happened to be walking by fell to the ground screaming as their eardrums all popped simultaneously. i didn't even notice that my wife had left the room until i saw her trying to hit her sister with our car.
i don't know what happened after that because i couldn't stop laughing until i ran out of breath and fainted, and when i woke up both my wife and her sister were gone.

i wasn't totally sober when i wrote that, but it's more or less the truth. all you have to do is replace every instance of the phrase
'my wife's sister'
with
'my own grandpa'
and replace
'she screamed 'IT'S NOT APRIL FOOL'S DAY GODDAMMIT' and started throwing all kinds of shit around'
with
'she screamed 'HOLY WHAT THE FUCK' and started projectile vomiting all over the place'.
lastly, replace
'i don't know what happened after that because i couldn't stop laughing until i ran out of breath'
with
'then my grandpa had to take her to the hospital because she was so disgusted that she threw up while she was already throwing up.'
i don't mean that she threw up, and then threw up again, i mean that she was throwing up and then in the middle of throwing up she somehow threw up again. when she calmed down enough to explain this to me, THAT was when i actually laughed until i passed out.

Yes, even if the movie, as I heard, is a ripoff of some much older European movie with near zero special effect and, of course, much less bubbles.
