Yeah.....But you haven't read as much as me. Not sure about the Q, though.
They can create or destroy stars with the snap of their fingers, go back in time to the Big Bang, and their war made stars go Super Nova...
I think it could be a stalemate...
But I'm not sure, and the OP is Galactus vs Star Wars...

ST can just trade him the blue prints to the genesis device and he can create his own planets with living bio spheres and nom away to his hearts content on converted dead moons ect.
SW however is screwed cos they lack cool tech like that :D.

The prototype is gone but the Enterprise had all the specs ect when it docked at the start of "Search for Spock" that would certainly have been downloaded due to the crisis it caused.Jedi Matt wrote:Except they don't have that Tech. Not only that but by the DS9 era protomatter was a well known and viable material used in even larger terraforming projects like reignighting dead stars (DS9: "Second Sight").
It was used as a component in explosive devices to destroy anyything from ships (DS9: "The Maquis, Part I") to healthy stars (DS9: "By Inferno's Light"), shit it was so common that the annoying tool Neelix had a container for storing it (VOY: "Mortal Coil") and in that episode it earned a special place in my heart by killing him :), damn seven and her nanoprobes :(.

Based on the research. But only David Marcus knew how to create it. They did work based off incomplete research. It wasn't the Genesis Device that information died with Marcus because he knew it wasnt something you leave lying around. Else Section 34 woulda used it already.

I assume you have material too support all this and not just a "it makes sense" claim that actually does not considering the comments made by Professor Gideon Seyetik on DS9 about his prior terraforming projects.Jedi Matt wrote:Based on the research. Do you mean section 31?, and why would they use it when protomatter bombs can cause suns to go nova?.Else Section 34 woulda used it already.

Uh, Galactus was destroying galaxies as a side effect in his fight against Tyrant. The Q's were destroying stars as a side effect in their civil war. Galaxies vs stars. Hmmm.Praeothmin wrote:Not sure about the Q, though.

So with protomatter equals genesis device?
The GD was a failure and David knew it. Working with protomatter doesn't equal Genesis Device and you know it.
Ah yes Section 31. My apologies. I am getting all my info wrong today.
The Changling tried to blow the the Bajoran sun with promatter and trillithium.
Didn't finish.
Voyager encounter promatter in the star, they were not creating GD's.

Except that those were side-effects of a war going on in a paralell universe.StarWarsStarTrek wrote:Uh, Galactus was destroying galaxies as a side effect in his fight against Tyrant. Re: Galactus shows up in the star wars galaxy
so i assume that, for once, the actual question asked by the thread is answered in unanimous decision?! seriously?!
galactus destroys the star wars galaxy with little to no effort.
