The Galactic Empire versus Gallifrey

Gallifrey, by act of Rassilon, is transported to the Star Wars galaxy, some amount of time ANH and by the same act of Rassilon, the Death Star has successfully crushed the Alliance at Yavin IV and Luke is captured then trained to be a Sith Lord by his daddy.
Gallifrey is armed with all of its usual technology, and is from the era in which Romana is madame president. The Galactic Empire is at the level as described in the ICS books, and this is an act of OP, Rassilon or whatever that makes it so regardless of actual canon.
The EU is also admissable for both sides, the Who EU for Gallifrey and the Wars EU for the Galactic Empire.
The world of Gallifrey is directed to end the reign of terror of the Galactic Empire; can it do so?
