Hyperlanes shown in action?

I was recently trying to find a clip on Youtube, and I came across a video game play through.
I suggest you skip about 2 minutes into the video
The different planets are often linked to one about, but not all are, and not all are directly linked.
Then I started to look for maps from the game

Does this look like Hyperlanes to anyone else?
