Libertarian Purity Test

Got linked to this and thought it was a cute waste of a minute. Oddly scored a 54 which is a lot higher than I expected but the questions were mostly concerned with Goverment and Free Markets rather than Social issues were I'd wager the biggest divide is. Anyway in the vein of similar political quizzes thought it might be a hoot to see how we all stack up.

Or descend upon each other in bloody political infighting. Whatever comes first. ;)

Ouch. I scored a 24.

Honestly, I prefer the political compass test, since it allows for degrees of views espoused. I believe there should be some regulations, that some drugs should be legalized, etc. This test left no room for nuance or subtlety.

45. Poorly done questions, and frankly if you were to get a perfect or near-perfect score you're not a libertarian, you're a loony. This is basically an anarchist vision couching itself in the term improperly.

Started answering, choosing a resounding YES to the first question (I live in Québec, where taxes - ALL taxes - are too high), but then farther down saw the questions are only for US citizens, so I stopped... :)

Or Milton Friedman. Which is about the same thing.
