Some mod should really ban Trek from vs. debates. It's too inconsistent to get any conclusions from.

EDIT: I also see that the standard firepower debate is going full blast. SB seems to think only energy expended matters (efficiency of delivery, position of delivery and form of delivery are all ignored).

I do not belittle 40k i just do not kneel and start schlobbing its knob like others do just because it "HAZ BIG STUFFS".:D

The nova canon is stupid even in 40k as they could easily make guided missiles with the same capabilities meaning they do not need to take up a large amount of the ship for its barrel ect, its also stupid being unguided if ships SUPPOSEDLY fight at .75c.

Cyclonic torpedoes are cool but are likely extremely large like most 40k weapons and everything else for that matter tends to be (appealing to a fan base in need of compensating for summat maybe :rolleyes::D) and in comparison a weapon capable of causing a a star to go nova in trek can be fitted into a photon torpedo casing (generations, half a life) and be carried by a runabout (By Inferno's Light).
