For example, a 100 light year jump will seem to take from 234 to 934 hours to a spaceship's crew, but between 3 days and 3 weeks will have passed in real space. These times do not include journey times out to and from jump points on the edge of the star systems. It takes from days to weeks of travel at sub-light speeds to reach a drop from the spaceship's starting planet, and a similar time to re-enter the destination system.

Uh, no, the Imperium does have guerilla warfare down, it's just that none of it's enemies are actually suitable for that strategy. I should warn you that the Imperium makes use of such diabolical technology as electrical transformers, which have been known to fuck with Trek Sensors, besides it's rather telling that we don't see this magical beaming strategy at any of the battles.
40K from my wiki-ing (What is the right way to spell that anyway?) doesn't have prevalent, 100% reliable transporter systems. Which means that their usage in general will prove to be quite a psychological shock. Imagine scores of warriors appearing from nowhere and cutting down your compatriots with ease. It would be demoralizing to the extreme.
Please show me anywhere in Trek where anything more than a dozen or so people beamed down. So far I've yet to see a handphaser cut through any kind of armour, so you're going to have to show me it can even harm a soldier in flak or carapace armour.

Would you be satisfied by beaming several hundred people off a ship?

You should be satisfied by the fact that handphasers regularly disintegrate humanoids and show some of their most energetic effects against metal and rock.

Can you beam down to a site where electronic warfare is ocuring?

Have Klingon disruptors been shown to have the same abilities as Federation phasers ?

A visual sample of what copmbat in 40K is like though it is toned down somewhat

Well, looks like a mess. :)
If the OP wants the Klingons to conquer that world, I don't think they could spam the surface repeatedly with phasers and torps, but they could probably afford doing so on packed military ressources.
Spacebattle will be nasty in the extreme. Certainly fixed defenses have their weaknesses however here they are close to the target you wish to attack thus skirting around them is problematic. IOM ships are fairly robust some have been in service for many centuries and are called on to fight a more technologically advanced enemy, Necrontyr and Eldar.
Yeah. Huh, just what are the IOM's forces when the Klingons arrive, and what are they worth (defense, mobility, range, firepower, crews, adaptation, etc.)?

That may be a stupid thing to say, but why Trek couldn't just nuke those guys or beam them "somewhere", like Asgards do?

There is the plasma reaction in the atmo that happened by The Chase by the klingon ship that detroyed all life on the planet, but not the planet itself. Their ships are quicker in space, but the thing is the IOM does have teleporters. They might get through shields and bombs are sent through the opening. Klingon shields might be able to adapt to and prevent such opening from happening, I'd have to do some research. But, can the end point for a teleporter open on a relatively moving target, one that can get up to a significant fraction of c?

Problem is Imperial teleporters don`t work like Trek ones. They make a tunnel through the warp, not Trek warp this is something worse, and depoisit the troops on the other side.

Nuking them is a problem, they will return the favor on klingon ground troops . Also you have to get past the orbital platforms, planetary defenses and Imperial ships. Even then their are ground based AA defenses like Hydras.

Same problem for beaming only now you are droping your shields.

I'm not saying they do. Teleporters open 'portals'. But, can these portals open up on things that are moving? Do they require line of sight for use? Is there ever concern about teleporting into the middle of solid matter? Does the act of opening a portal destroy solid matter?

AFAIK They can target moving targets, teleporter attacks can be used in ship to ship actions. As for destroying solid matter and such no clue but they acttuakky may.

there is another problem Klingons will face Psykers. IN 40k Psykers are a very real problem in combat for example if they try a surprise transporter attack against a marine position with a Librarian. The marines could very well cut the klingon troops down as they materialise. Also their are grades to psykers with the fluff describing an Alpha class psyker capable of snaping battle titans in half or driving entire armiers mad with their thoughts.

Have we ever known a range limit to teleporters?

Okay, that's new. I never heard that before (but, I don't play 40k, so that isn't surprising). What blocks and jams it? The only thing I heard is that stuff in the immaterium tries fucking with it sometimes.

Whoops my mistake thought that you had wrote Transporters not Teleporters.

Klingons first have to get past the Imperial fleet in the area which will include any Inquisitional, Space Marine, and Rogue Trader ships currently in the system. Past the orbital fortresses. Past the surface defenses, defense lasers, missle silos and ground based small craft bases. Land the klingoin troops.

Next problem, how many troops are you capable of handling and landing? Using BOPs? Each one you use is one less to fight enemy ships. Vorchas, K'T' Ingas ? Drop shields to land troops...pity if a weapoin hits them in the meantime.

Last but not least the logistics of the Klingons, troops will need food, potable water, ammunition, replacement parts, medical supplies.
Remeber you are not facing the Federation the IOM is no pushover on the ground and they have a few surprises for the Klkingons. For Exampl deathstrike Missl;es in mobile launcher. Deathstrike can be launched from the other side of the planet and can carry a plasma, vortex or biological warhead.
