can i assume, then, that you personally decided my actions were not worthy of a permanent ban? i've been wondering about that, given that immediately after you requested that jms permban me, he complained that you were in total control of the board, and the permban on ksw seemed to show that to be true.

The permabans on both KSW and SWST, mojo, was due to those two people not learning one iota from their previous bans, and coming back doing the same thing that got them banned...

Your ban, according to what I could find, was only for ten weeks, Mike mentioning only he had asked for it to be permanent, and it was only like your second or third ban, unlike the fifth or sixth for the other two...
It never came to, which I am happy for, but please understand, mojo, that you were banned because your antics, while funny in some instances, weren't when you started creating bad insulting fics about Mike...

Please, while some of your antics are funny, please don't start with the fics about members again, unless you have their permission...

are you implying that you gave your assent under the assumption that mike had already given permission to use his name in a fanfic with a title that would probably get me banned again for posting that alone?!

which makes it implicit that you did not find anything particularly objectionable about it at the time, because you are a person who would not allow it otherwise. do you see? my point is that it doesn't make sense to scold me now, when, given the opportunity to do so in a very pointed fashion earlier, you chose not to do so...

and, to respond to the other bit, yes, i suppose i am happy to be back. i don't think i'll be here much longer with things as they are, though, and it's a bit hard to let the whole thing go when i still feel that not only was my long ban unjustified and against forum policy, my right to appeal was essentially denied when mike decided to simply ignore every single point i made in order to basically state, 'i don't care, if jms isn't going to deal with it, it stands.'

is this really what we wanted when we decided to go to war to have swst thrown out? to lose all transparency in moderation and basically allow mods the power to do as they please? i'd love for someone to show me the point in this thread where ksw is shown to be sitting on 4 warnings recently. and of course the fact that i was sitting on ONE WARNING when i was banned using emergency powers for some reason is cause for alarm in my opinion. mike outright stated that he banned me because he lost his patience. anyone who wants to skip back a couple of pages can see it for themselves. he admits himself it was unjustified and then states that his hands are tied as JMS would have to make the decision. then JMS says, 'uh, mike, remember when i gave you control of the forum? i don't do that anymore.' and my bafflingly long ban stood. because mike lost his temper.

JMS would never have allowed either of those actions and everyone here knows it.
